Ohio Public Insurance Adjuster

When the Insurance Company Handles Your Claim, They’re Not Neutral.

The adjuster your insurance company sends works for them – not you. Our role as a public insurance adjuster in Ohio is to stand on your side, review what they did, and help you understand whether you were paid fairly under your policy.

  • We explain your policy in simple terms
  • We review what the insurer did and why
  • We focus on losses within the last 12 months
We do not sell your information. Nothing is sent to your insurance company unless you choose to move forward under a written agreement.

Why People Call a Public Adjuster

Common patterns we see with Ohio property damage claims.

“They said it was wear and tear.”

Water stains, cracked materials, warped flooring, and other issues are often written off as wear and tear. In many cases, they’re actually the result of a covered event. The wording in your policy matters more than one or two sentences in a denial letter.

“They paid, but it feels light.”

Most underpayments are not obvious until you or a contractor try to repair the damage. Missing line items, under-measured areas, and ignored code requirements are real and common problems.

“They closed the claim before I understood what was happening.”

Sometimes claims are closed quickly, even though damage continues to show up over time. If the loss is recent enough and the policy allows it, there may still be a path to review or reopen the claim.

What We Actually Do

Here’s what our work looks like when we review an Ohio property claim.

1. Listen and review

We listen to your story and review your paperwork – policy, letters, estimates, and photos. This is a private review: nothing is sent to the carrier.

2. Compare the damage to the policy

We compare what happened to what your policy says. We look for missed coverages, misapplied exclusions, improper deductibles, and overlooked damage.

3. Discuss options

If everything looks fair, we’ll tell you that. If it doesn’t, we’ll explain why in plain language and talk about possible next steps. Only if you decide to move forward would we discuss a written public adjuster agreement.

Request a Private Ohio Claim Review

For Ohio property owners who had a property damage claim within the last 12 months and want a second opinion. This form does not hire anyone and does not send anything to your insurance company.

Any decision to hire a public adjuster would be made later, in writing, and only if you choose to do so.

FAQ

Do you work outside Ohio?

Our public adjusting services are focused on Ohio properties. For properties outside Ohio, we may only provide general educational information, and in some states we cannot assist due to local laws.

Do you charge a fee?

There is no fee for an initial review. If you choose to hire a public adjuster, any fee is a contingency percentage set by state law and explained in a written agreement before you sign anything. If there is no additional recovery, no fee is owed.

Do you submit claims for me automatically?

No. We review your situation privately and discuss what we see. Nothing is sent to the insurance company unless and until you decide to move forward under a written agreement.
